    4. Data collection on our website

    Cookies
Our website sometimes uses ‘cookies’. Cookies will not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are what are known as ‘session cookies’. These are automatically deleted when your visit ends. Other cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are being placed so that you can approve them on a case-by-case basis, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude their use, or enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If cookies are disabled, this may impair the functionality of this website.
Cookies that are required to carry out electronic communication or to provide certain functions required by you (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies in order to provide its services in a technically flawless and optimised fashion. Other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) that may be stored are dealt with separately in this data privacy statement.

    Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
    • browser type and browser Version
    • operating system used
    • referrer URL
    • host name of the accessing computer
    • time of the server enquiry
    • IP address
This data is not combined with other data sources.
Data processing is carried out based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the purpose of performing a contract or pre-contractual measures.

    Contact form/product queries
If you send queries to us via contact form, your information from the form, including any contact details entered there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the query and for use in the event of follow-up queries. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The data entered into the form will therefore only be processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6[1][a] of the GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. Sending us an informal email will be sufficient to do this. The legality of any data processing carried out until such revocation will remain unaffected by this.
Any data you enter in the form will be retained by us until you request for it to be deleted, you revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after your query has finished being processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
